Alex Devlin was born on April 14, 2001, in Sheffield, England, but was raised in Oban, Scotland, by his parents, Joseph and Marice Devlin. In 2014, at just 13 years old, Alex founded his first software company, Progamers, where he found early success by the age of 16. One of the company's highlights was the launch of its music streaming service, iTube Infinite, which amassed over 10,000 downloads and received steady positive reviews. By 2022, Alex decided to depart from Progamers to pursue new creative ambitions. On January 1, 2023, he founded Devine Animation Studios — the realization of his lifelong dream to create and tell stories through animation.
Alex grew up admiring the golden age of animation, falling in love with classics like The Jungle Book and Dumbo, as well as the animation renaissance of the 1990s with films like The Iron Giant, The Lion King, and Hercules. He drew inspiration from pioneers such as Walt Disney, Michael Eisner, and Ub Iwerks, whose bold visions shaped the industry. With the same spirit of innovation, Alex dreams of reinventing the animation world for a new generation. He has carefully mapped out four phases for his studio — each focused solely on original content, promising no sequels, no imitations, only fresh, unique stories and unforgettable characters.
